In Australia startup company LUMOS is rolling out a car-top Digital Out of Home solution across Sydney and Melbourne.
The LUMOS Car Top display solution claims to bring high-resolution ad programming to the top of rideshare vehicles, such as Uber rides, and is designed as a companion to the LUMOS Smart Bags line of digital advertising displays on bicycle food delivery bags.
The company plans to roll out 100 car-top screens by Q2 2023 and anticpates having 500 total active screens across Sydney and Melbourne by the end of the year.
Eric Fan, CEO at Lumos was quoted as saying “We are thrilled to launch our digital car top network and provide advertisers with a new way to reach their target audience. With the OOH market growing at a rapid pace, we believe that the timing is perfect for LUMOS and our digital Car Top network to make a significant impact.”
Late last year LUMOS raised $800,000 in an oversubscribed pre-Seed round backed by Claremont Capital, Dorcas Capital and angel investors including Imprint Capital Partners partner Curt Shi, Beames Capital partner Hugo de Jong, Metagrove Ventures managing partner Barry Winata and the Trampoline Syndicate, led by Matt Perkes and Abraham Robertson.
