Some of London’s Oxford Street bus shelters have been given a “royal makeover” having been adorned with larger than life versions of St Edward’s Crown.
The purple and gold headpiece will be worn by the King when he is officially crowned this Saturday.
In addition five London buses are featuring commemorative wraps on routes serving locations linked to the royal family, such as Horse Guards Parade and Hyde Park.
Twenty hire bikes in TfL’s Santander Cycles scheme will also feature special wraps to mark the coronation.
TfL said that the bus wraps were funded by operators, while the installations on bus stops were funded by business group New West End Company.
