UK Outdoor advertising media owner 75Media is celebrating 800% growth in its premium large format RISE network whilst also announcing the launch of a new headline site in the heart of the Midlands.
The brand new, double-sided DM6 site at Spaghetti Gateway, Birmingham, is the latest addition to 75Media’s RISE network: a collection of DM6 and D96 digital structures on some of the UK’s busiest roads, that reel in high audience figures. The new billboard attracts a staggering audience of 83.2 million people a year, and is a state-of-the-art, brand new, full-motion site that is completely unmissable at the busy Lichfield junction
In the last two years, 75Media’s RISE portfolio has grown in site numbers by 800% with sites launching in Manchester, Leeds, Liverpool, London, Birmingham and Somerset. By summer 2024, the company will be operating 30 to 40 more of these iconic sites on major arterial routes which serve the top 20 UK cities.
Alex Simpson, 75Media’s Operations Director, told us “Our RISE proposition of premium sites is really exciting and something we are very focussed on going forward. The demand from clients for iconic structures – which have local and regional ‘talkability’ – is increasing all the time and that’s exactly what these sites offer. We’re putting a lot of weight behind growing this portfolio, and it’s going to happen quickly and with impact, thanks to strong and long-standing relationships with our outdoor advertising partners.”
75Media has seen year-on-year growth since its launch in 2020: in 2023, it will see a seven figure turnover and in 2024, this is expected to rise to eight figures. Its portfolio has gone from just 140 classic sites to a network of over 380 classic, digital and large format sites across the UK. Fuelling this growth is a growing team and in the last few months, 75Media has recruited three new Business Development Managers and an Agency Account Director. The company is looking to bolster its senior management team over the coming months, along with recruitment in its operations and marketing divisions. By the end of the year the team will have more than tripled in size from the start of 2023. It also plans to open work spaces in London and Edinburgh, to complement its Leeds HQ.
