North America’s leading digital-out-of-home video network, is partnering with the American Psychological Association (APA), the largest scientific and professional organization of psychologists in the United States, to raise awareness about mental health and cultivate workplace well-being. The collaboration kicks off in October with World Mental Health Day on October 10th.
Captivate’s Editorial Team will curate valuable news and information from the APA to enhance and amplify mental health content in an original Workplace Wellness series. At a time when mental health and wellness is especially critical for Americans, this strategic content partnership equips Captivate’s audience with actionable advice for balancing the challenges of work and life while reducing the stigma surrounding mental health. The Workplace Wellness series delivers mental health research and resources to Captivate’s vast network of modern professionals across 20,800 Captivate screens.
This partnership comes on the heels of APA’s 2023 Work in America Survey, which found that 77% of workers reported experiencing work-related stress in the prior month. Additionally, 92% said they want to work for an organization that values their emotional and psychological well-being.
The American Psychological Association, in Washington, D.C., is the largest scientific and professional organization representing psychology in the United States. APA’s membership includes over 146,000 researchers, educators, clinicians, consultants and students. Through its divisions in 54 subfields of psychology and affiliations with 60 state, territorial and Canadian provincial associations, APA works to advance the creation, communication and application of psychological knowledge to benefit society and improve people’s lives.
