Streetlevel Media Acquires Media Transit Business

Adrian J Cotterill, Editor-in-Chief

Streetlevel Media has acquired the transit business of Media Transit, Inc. in several Virginia markets.

Media Transit was formed in 1999 by Tim and Sally Brazil. Tim began his career in 1981 and has spent 40+ years in the transit advertising business. Though they will stay on temporarily to facilitate a smooth transition, the divestiture will allow Tim & Sally to enjoy their planned retirement.

Media Transit’s Tim Brazil said “Sally and I are proud of what we’ve built and we are confident our transit partners and advertising clients will be in good hands with Streetlevel Media. This collaboration will open doors to fresh ideas, expanded networks, and shared expertise. We are genuinely excited about the possibilities that lie ahead. We would also like to thank Amber and Marty with Williamson & Associates for their expertise for putting this deal together”

This transaction expands the market coverage of Streetlevel Media in Virginia. The company is currently in over 16 markets in South and North Carolina, and Virginia. James Dawson, Owner/Manager of Streetlevel Media told us “Marty and Amber were an absolute pleasure to work with through our acquisition. They approached us with an opportunity to expand our footprint via the acquisition of a competitor of ours. This was a new situation for the seller and us. I was extremely impressed by Williamson & Associates. Their consistent communication, professionalism, and knowledge made this a win win for everybody.”

For Williamson & Associates who handled the transaction, this marks their first transaction in the OOH transit sector
