Sharp NEC Display Solutions Europe introduces the Sharp LM Series, a new line of mid-size interactive displays, commanding feature-rich professional capabilities for small meeting spaces and interactive signage applications. Positioned as successor to the NEC MExx1 IR-2 models and a line-up expansion to the Sharp LC, LB and LA Series, the LM Series combines versatility, innovation, and advanced functionality.
Available in 43-inch and 55-inch sizes, the new displays are tailored for various key markets and applications. In office environments, they enhance huddle rooms for corporations and governmental institutions, as well as group learning and focus rooms at higher education facilities.
Furthermore, the LM Series delivers interactive solutions for retail displays, wayfinding systems in shopping malls, and immersive experiences in museums.
The integrated System on Chip (SoC) with Android 14 CTS-compliant operating system offers the most up to date features, smooth out-of-the-box collaboration and ensures seamless compatibility with third-party applications.
Collaborative tools are at the heart of the Sharp LM Series. Intuitive Pen-on-Paper writing, a built-in whiteboard, annotation overlay mode and Windows Ink support, boost creativity and group collaboration. Using the on-board EShare app, content can be wirelessly shared from any personal device to the display without the need for apps or dongles. A single USB-C cable transmits data, video and audio output and power delivery for the simplest and seamless connection of your notebook to the display.
With its four-sided uniform slim bezel design, the Sharp LM Series supports installations in both landscape and portrait as well as tilted desk for kiosks. Dedicated features including hide side bars, application lock and the built-in web browser, make the Sharp LM Series the perfect display for budget driven interactive signage applications. For additional computing power, the 55-inch model includes an Intel® OPS slot.
Take advantage of the Sharp LM Series cutting-edge features:
Best readability: The high brightness panel with 500cd/m2 brightness ensures content is readable even in well-lit environments and anti-glare coating avoids distraction of any reflection and minimises visible fingerprints.
Pen-on-Paper user experience: Benefit from the latest infrared touch technology and Zero Bonded glass, enabling highly accurate and responsive writing and drawing with up to 20 touch points while automatically differentiating between finger, pen, and palm erasing.
Out-of-the-box collaboration: A powerful home screen launcher offers fast and flexible access to a range of pre-installed applications such as whiteboard, wireless screen sharing, and office viewer.
Highly customisable: A variety of settings allow adapting the display to different customer needs, including always available side bar to control the display, no matter which input is used.
Safe and Secure: The latest Android 14 SoC offers a secure operating system which together with extra security features meets the highest IT security standards, as well as guaranteed support of security patches for up to five years. The series supports IEEE802.1X for secure connection to the internet for both Wi-Fi and LAN.
“The Sharp LM Series redefines interactive displays by combining user-friendliness, security, and flexibility to meet the demands of modern workspaces,” emphasizes Ralph Kolen, Product Manager Interactive Displays at Sharp NEC Display Solutions Europe. “With this new series, we are strategically addressing the growing demand for collaborative and interactive solutions across multiple industries.”
