With Super Bowl LIX done and dusted we can report that Beliv USA, Planet Fitness, and Visit Pensacola were among several advertisers that deployed fleets of logoed vehicles in New Orleans for brand activations in the days and hours leading up to the showdown between the Philadelphia Eagles and the Kansas City Chiefs.
In lieu of spending millions of dollars for a stadium sponsorship or TV advertisements, the notable brands partnered with Carvertise, the nation’s largest rideshare advertising company, to deploy swarms of Uber vehicles wrapped in their colorful branding and marketing messages to “swarm” New Orleans’ Caesar Superdome on game day and at pre-Super Bowl events.
Beliv USA, the beverage company, deployed numerous rideshare vehicles wrapped in the brightly-colored branding of its newest Kombucha product, Big Easy Pop, and swarm five pre-Super Bowl events, including The Super Bowl Experience at the city’s convention center. On Super Bowl Sunday, the drivers stationed the logoed vehicles near the sports arena and handed out drink samples to fired-up fans.
Longtime Carvertise partner Planet Fitness touted its marketing message with multiple vehicles decked out in light-up car wraps and under-car lighting and deployed to the Super Bowl and other pre-game events.
Tourism brands Visit Louisiana Northshore and Visit Pensacola also lured fans to their destinations with their creatively-wrapped vehicles; Visit Louisiana deployed branded cars to the airport in advance of the Super Bowl, as well as the game, while Visit Pensacola swarmed the Super Bowl Opening Night on February 2, the Fan Fest on February 8 and the Big Game itself on February 9.
“Advertising at the Super Bowl is a costly marketing expenditure,” said Carvertise CEO Mac Macleod. “Carvertise is providing the same access at a fraction of the cost to the more than four-hundred-thousand fans in town for the Big Game. Better yet – we’re doing it in a memorable, engaging way.”
This is the fourth consecutive year Carvertise has partnered with its clients to make a splash on sports’ biggest stage with branded vehicles — and the first time in each of the above brands’ history to execute a Super Bowl activation with wrapped cars.
Carvertise is America’s largest rideshare advertising company on a mission to revolutionize the way brands communicate with consumers outdoors. Leveraging a network of 550,000 registered drivers, Carvertise is running wrapped-car ad campaigns around the country for clients including Netflix, 7-Eleven, EA Sports, NASCAR, and GlaxoSmithKline. Geo-targeted, highly memorable, with a heavy emphasis on analytics, Carvertise is proudly spearheading the future of transit advertising.
