Midwich Ignite Invests in NetSpeek

Midwich Ignite has invested in NetSpeek, the company behind the first generative AI platform built exclusively for operating multi-vendor networks of unified communications (UC) and pro-AV technologies.

Founded in 2023, NetSpeek automates the installation, operation, and troubleshooting of AV and UC systems using generative AI through its Lena platform.

NetSpeek’s Lena simplifies complex AV installations by providing step-by-step guidance, reducing the time and effort required for setup and configuration. Additionally, its autonomy and reasoning capabilities allow businesses to detect and address potential issues before they escalate, ensuring uninterrupted operations.

By transforming raw data into meaningful insights, Lena helps organisations make informed decisions, improving efficiency and business outcomes.

Alex Kemanes, managing director at Midwich Ignite, told us “Investing in NetSpeek represents an exciting step for Midwich Ignite as we continue to back technologies that drive real innovation. NetSpeek is revolutionising network maintenance with its intelligent, real-time diagnostics and proactive alerts helping AV and IT customers minimise downtime while giving end users peace of mind. Through Midwich’s extensive network with market-leading AV manufacturers and systems integrators, we see significant opportunities for NetSpeek to scale and integrate across a wide range of professional AV environments.”

We first saw NetSpeek at #ISE2025 earlier this year** but readers should note that they will be showcasing Lena at #InfoComm25 on booth 3590.

Erik DeGiorgi, CEO at NetSpeek (you may remember Erik and his father from MediaVue) said “This partnership with Midwich Ignite marks a major milestone in our quest to transform how AV and UC networks are deployed and managed. With their deep industry expertise and global reach, Midwich is the ideal strategic partner to help accelerate our mission. Together, we’re equipping integrators, IT teams, and facility managers with intelligent tools that radically simplify operations, reduce service costs, and elevate the user experience across the modern workplace.”

Midwich Group plc launched Midwich Ignite, the Group’s new corporate venture capital arm, to invest in and support entrepreneurs to propel innovation within the industry back at #ISE2024 in early 2024.
