Digicom Appoints Guy Chiswick

Digicom, the UK’s only independent ‘pure play’ digital media sales house selling at a national level to clients, media agencies and outdoor specialists, this week announced the appointment of Guy Chiswick to the position of Commercial Director.

Guy will be responsible for developing new inventory and ancillary revenue streams as well as liaising with Digicom’s current and prospective network partners.

Tom Goddard, Digicom Executive Chairman told us “I am very pleased that Guy is joining Digicom on a permanent basis. I am certain that his broad expertise in the digital retail sector and in out of home media sales will be extremely valuable to Digicom’s clients. The company will without doubt benefit from his extensive experience in this field, setting Digicom on a stronger commercial footing.”

Guy was of course previously Commercial Director for Tesco.com at dunnhumby and before that Sales Director for dunnhumby retail media, responsible for Tesco’s integrated media estate (including Tesco Screens) and before that he was Head of Agency Sales at CBS Outdoor.

Guy has been working at Digicom on a consultancy basis since June 2009 – working at identifying foundation advertising partners for Amscreen’s BP Connect network.

When we have visited the Digicom offices we have seen some ‘interesting’ faces around offering consultancy services and we wouldn’t be surprised if there were a few more announcements soon as Digicom continue to grab some of the very best people in the industry.
