Bluefox Plays With Its New Train Set
The first ”Francilien’ train arrived on the railway tracks in Paris over the weekend (Saturday December 12th) – the start of an important renewal for the existing suburban trains in Paris as they are gradually replaced by these new trains built by Bombardier.
Each train has 32 digital screens – 4 screens per coach and they (at first) will be showing contents about the general Paris region.
Paris based content provider BlueFox won the public invitation to tender last June and created the graphic layout for the screens and also provides the weather feeds.
For now, only 2 trains will be in service, but by the end of 2015 it is hoped there will be 172 trains in service, representing a potential network of more than 5500 digital screens!
