Carrefour Athens
Adrian J Cotterill, Editor-in-Chief
When we were in Athens last year we took a look at the Carrefour digital signage implementations and were quite impressed. They had 14 stores or so at the time and it looks like they will have covered 21 by the end of this year.
They have a footfall of over 2 million per month and more than 300 screens installed all together.
The company that runs all this is also likely to have its own web site up soon (hurrah) so watch this space.

I was heavily involved with the initial roll out and maintenance of this network (if it’s still held by the same company) – a very very reliable provision. Aside from its OS and DS applications one of the main strengths of the network is the structured backbone implemented by the team.
I’m very happy they are still up and running. Congrats to the guys who are obviously still working very hard in the heat!!! 🙂

Neil, it is the same company operating the network. It is the Acquire digital signage platform, operated by our Greek partner, I-Contact.
