Our team of geeks just love these iPod vending booths in malls and airports in the US – BTW you tend not to see them in Europe.

I am sure there is a cheaper way to buy an iPod and accessories BUT it certainly caters for the impulse buy and the emergency “ohmigod I have lost my earphones” or “I have forgotten my battery charger”

It’s just a shame that in the design of such an otherwise incredibly well designed offering, the digital screen element was such an afterthought – we are sure that the designers never originally intended to place a normal 15″ TV screen on top of the booth!

Now just think what could be done with the brand if they offered something like free Wi-Fi into the mix!!!
