Minicom’s Proof of Performance
Adrian J Cotterill, Editor-in-Chief
Minicom Digital Signage (MDS) is set to demonstrate the first Remote Device Management (RDM) solution with Proof of Performance capabilities at #ScreenMediaExpo (booth D5) next week.
The proprietary RDM technology enables remote monitoring and control of display assets of any DS and DOOH network and, so we are told, marks the ‘conceptualization’ of managed displays.
The solution which will be on display will feature a unique Media Feedback Mechanism (MFM) for Proof of Performance – the idea being of course is that advertisers making use of DOOH networks can validate and audit advertising to ensure both the quantity and quality of the broadcasted ad.
Ronni Guggenheim, CEO Minicom Digital Signage told us “The world of Digital Signage is expanding rapidly with millions of displays from different vendors deployed globally. The interest of media operators is to extract the maximum value from their business-critical media infrastructure, 24/7. This creates a natural trend towards remote central management of media-space display assets, which will be a crucial capability. Our RDM technology provides an essential building block helping the market mature.”
Minicom Digital Signage RDM technology aims to provide…
- Easier management with consistent monitoring and control of all display assets
- Increased reliability with actual media sampling
- Increased robustness with objective means of monitoring and control
