Top Brands, Activation Summit, New York
Adrian J Cotterill, Editor-in-Chief
It’s great to see that brands such as Diageo, Conde Nast, H&M, Moet and Clinique are all confirmed to attend the second annual “Brand Activation Summit Using Digital Out-of-Home Media” which takes place on Tuesday, September 9 and Wednesday, September 10, 2008 in New York City.
This Strategy Institute event, which will highlight trends in media buying and business strategy is starting to take shape – we see that ROI, new pricing consideration and engagement via mobile and interactive technologies are just some of the topics that will be discussed at the Brand Activation Summit.
Rocky Gunderson, VP of Network Development at SeeSaw Networks said “This representation of blue-chip brands confirms the continuing growth and momentum of digital out-of-home media. As the fastest growing medium since the Internet, digital out-of-home advertising plays a critical role in brand activation for national advertisers by intercepting people everywhere they go in their daily lives”
Stephen Faso, VP and Director of New Media with Outdoor Services (OSI is a leading OOH planning and buying agency, part of the Interpublic Group of Companies) said “Our various entertainment, automotive, pharmaceutical and even military clientele have become most interested and will likely be among the first in breaking new ground via their new media and OOH marketing”
Should be good, let’s hope that the event is not too US centric.
