There are a number of good things going on next week in London at the Marketing Week Live event (Grand Hall, London Olympia 29-30 June)

Here are two that we are looking forward to specifically and that may interest others…

1. Mood Media: Music – more than just Wallpaper? Vanessa Warren, Group Marketing Manager at Mood Media, will be speaking on how music can be used to build a retail brand.
2. immediate future (an online PR and social media agency) are hosting an invite only ‘informal tea party’ for people interested in social media, online marketing and associated technology. This we are told is a “chance to network with likeminded peers and bloggers over tea and cupcakes” and never one to turn down a cup of tea and a slice of cake we will be there. We also understand that Ruth Speakman, Head of Consumer PR, from Sony Europe will be giving a short talk on Sony’s approach to marketing and promoting the brand and products online.
