Limited Space, an out-of-home media owner in the UK premium shopping mall market, has added four new malls to its portfolio.
The malls – The Grafton Centre in Cambridge, Whitgift Centre in Croydon, Silverburn in Glasgow, and the Wellgate Centre in Dundee – will take Limited Space’s portfolio to 80 malls in total with a combined footfall of 45 million every two weeks. The additions are part of an expansion plan to offer their formats in more of the UK’s premium malls, and will also add 48 Adlift (full size lift door advertising) sites to its offering.
Matt Gordon, managing director, Limited Space told us “The demand for our innovative static and digital formats – Adlift, Panoramic and Ad HD – has allowed us to build on our mall portfolio. All of our malls are carefully selected so our distribution is concentrated on the top 20% of the UK’s most desirable malls. This makes sure we give the premium brands we work with the best malls to advertise in for their product. We’re excited to be expanding into these prestigious mall developments and we hope to continue to grow our portfolio throughout the coming months to incorporate further high-ranking malls.”
The Grafton Centre in Cambridge is owned by Prupim and is the highest ranking of the five malls in Cambridge. It offers more than 60 stores, restaurants and a multi-screen cinema making it an ideal destination for shopping, eating and entertainment. Whitgift Centre in Croydon, owned by the Whitgift Foundation, is the largest and the highest rated of the five shopping centres in Croydon with over 140 stores and is ranked 18th in the country.
Limited Space is also adding two new Scottish malls – Silverburn in Glasgow and Wellgate Centre in Dundee. Silverburn is owned by Hammerson and ranked 29th in the country. It’s amongst the highest rated Scottish malls and has 95 shops and 14 restaurants. Wellgate Centre, owned by Prupim, is situated in the city centre of Dundee and is the second-highest-ranking mall in the city.
