10,000 Digital Menu Boards (And Counting)
STRATACACHE announced today the successful installation of its 10,000th digital menu board within the quick service restaurant (QSR) industry. In addition to traditional static menu boards, four leading North American QSR operators are seemingly powering their digital menu board initiatives with STRATACACHE’s ActiVia for QSR digital signage software.
As with other technology solutions on the market, these QSR operators are eliminating recurring printing costs, generating significant incremental revenue and enhancing their customer experience and (in the US specifically) improving menu labeling compliance as provisioned in the recent Health Care Reform Act.
Chris Riegel, STRATACACHE CEO told us “The role of digital media within the QSR industry is evolving rapidly—and digital menu boards, in particular, are proving their value in helping restaurant owners dramatically increase the profitability of their operations,”
Chris Riegel added “With our current installation schedule, we look forward to announcing our 25,000th digital menu board by the end of the year as we continue to enjoy great momentum in this space and the opportunity to serve leading brands in the U.S. and throughout the world,”.
During a recent two week period, one STRATACACHE client saw a 53% increase in sales for an item promoted on its digital menu board, compared to the previous week when the item was not featured.
Another customer recorded a 427% increase in sales of a new, premium product in digital stores versus a group of control stores using traditional, static menu boards.
With impressive numbers like this, STRATACACHE must be simply lovin’ it, Ed

Excuse me for my ignorance, but I was curious to know who some of these QSR compniaes may be. Any ideas? A visit to the Stratacache customer web page does not reveal any logos of QSR companies. just wondering….
