Interesting partnership we spotted this week (yes PetrolWorld is one of our weekly reads) between Gilbarco Veeder-Root and Scala.
The (new) slim line head for the SK700-II (which we assume is something in the picture to the right here) is / will be powered by Scala’s digital signage solution.
Petrol World goes on to say “With the new Scala-powered content, oil companies and retailers will benefit from an integrated offering that enables high quality advertising and multimedia messages at the forecourt”
Fabrizio Tarlini, Marketing Director for Retail Solutions at Gilbarco Veeder-Root was quoted as saying “By working with Scala, Gilbarco Veeder-Root will offer customers a seamless indoor to forecourt digital signage and advertising experience by coupling the breakthrough technology of our FlexPay payment engine with Scala’s leading digital signage platform. The combination is sure to drive greater in-store traffic and therefore increase profitability,” said
Oscar Elizaga, vice president, EMEA for Scala said “We are now actively working with Gilbarco and Scala’s worldwide network of partners in several significant projects.”
