Last night’s Pre-Digital Investor Conference Mixer was a lot of fun with well over the 40 people projected to meet, greet and generally chew the rag about where the DOOH industry is heading.
There was lots and lots of chatter about consolidation, who is interested in buying – or being bought –, a couple of investor types trying to get a hold on the mood of the industry, some totally new faces, lots of brewskies, (and some great Irish music downstairs).
We had a good chat about the largest digital screen ever going up in Times Square (more about that to come), the fact that several companies are beginning to finally pick business delayed by the recession, and some general info on how the Minkus defendents’ meeting went earlier in the day. And even more talk on consolidation.
All in all, a good evening. Too bad Adrian missed it!
