Here’s an exclusive first picture of industry newcomer Mall Media EU new install at the CentrO in Oberhausen, Germany.

We wrote yesterday “Industry newcomer Mall Media EU is seemingly securing the digital media rights for some key German / European shopping centres”.

We understand that the network will be lit up this afternoon. Note the two square antennas on the top of the unit – these are from MeterLive, who describe themselves as “an early stage venture looking to revolutionize the world of audience measurement and demographics of Out Of Home (OOH) media of any size, primarily of digital billboards” – it’s basically proximity marketing, picking up loose mobile phone signals we believe.
