Boomerang Digital who manage screen media sales for Zoom Media / Clubcom’s Healthclub Channel are great at supplying us with regular campaign updates and lots of nice pictures.

Jill Lee tells us that Nike have recently bought 50% of their total air-time for the Nike Women’s “Here I Am” campaign…

Nike is encouraging more women to put their trainers on through a pan-European marketing campaign called Here I Am. The idea is to put across the benefits of sport to women, get more ladies involved in sport and provoke debate about the coverage and place of women’s sport.

The campaign is fronted by athletes from Paula Radcliffe and Maria Sharapova to footballer Lianne Sanders, hurdler Perri Shakes-Drayton, snowboarder Zoe Gillings and dancer Kymberlee Jay.

There is 5 minutes of content and 5 creatives across 4 ad breaks in a 2 week period rotating copy each week – the creative by Weiden+Kennedy looks hand-rendered and has a feeling of going back to traditional ‘illustration’ based commercials and looks like an excellent use of animation graphics.
