The Mass Cull At CRI (UK)

Adrian J Cotterill, Editor-in-Chief

According to LinkedIn, George Fournier has left CRI and joined RTS Unified Communications – a Systems Integrator in NYC that focuses on the traditional conference space, A/V projects, etc. George’s departure in the US we believe, leaves no CAD engineers at CRI which is perhaps a sign that large integrations and architectural ties at CRI are going to be completely abandoned?

In related news it appears that there has been somewhat of a mass cull elsewhere in the empire with something like 90% of CRI’s UK division having been let go. This means that there are some talented individuals on the market (3D designers, engineers and other integrator professionals).

UK based 3D designer Julie Aravantinos is one of those for example looking for a new position.

Hasn’t been much respect for employees at CRI for some time now. Much like Magenta Research, CRI is a good company who went bad. Still poorly managed and I’d bet another change of hands will be seen in Q4 of 2011. Forgotten are the days of creativity, passion and intelligence.

That’s what happens when agency folk get involved.
