MRI Aquires Hamilton Digital Designs

Toronto-based Media Resources International, until recently known as The Grant Sign Group, has acquired Hamilton Digital Designs Ltd., Burlington, Ontario.
HDD has designed and manufactured electronic indoor and outdoor LED displays for the sports, commercial and entertainment markets for 37 years.
“The merger will enable us to broaden our product line and offer LED displays worldwide,” says Steve Gallow, MRI partner. “HDD is a very successful company providing custom engineering, design and manufacturing plus complete software design and execution. We feel confident that by joining forces we will be able to offer superior outdoor advertising products for the global market.”

Sales management of LED displays will be headed up by Bill Mullen, MRI partner, who, except for production, is responsible for sales of all MRI products. Al Wynne who was responsible for sales at HDD, will join MRI with a key focus on digital sales. Christine Lanziano, who currently handles US sales for the company’s three–message displays (tri-vision), will take on the responsibility for marketing and sales of LED displays in the U.S..
MRI was established in 1967 and has offices in Toronto, Calgary, Edmonton, Vancouver, New York City and Naples, Florida. Its product line and operations include: manufacturing, production and service maintenance for a wide array of outdoor and indoor displays including LED, digital, 3D, traditional large and small format outdoor advertising, tri-vision displays and POP digital printing. The company also offers a number of specialized displays for events and trade shows, stage and studio backdrops, street furniture as well as various parts and systems.
