As we’ve said many times before our twitter analysis for an event could be summarised in one sentence – “make your hashtag as long as it needs to be in order for it to be unique, make sure you have only one (hashtag), promote the hell out of it and clamp down early on any variations from that by users”
That policing fell down to us for #iseurope in the first place (we enjoy that though so we are not complaining). Mind you it amazes us how many people forget to use the hashtag AFTER the event when summarising their attendance, thanking folks or pointing folks to their video logs etc.
Anyway, we will have the #iseurope twitter analysis up tomorrow we hope (just crunching final numbers now).
