Cotswold Canals Trust Uses DOOH In Boardroom

The UK’s Cotswold Canals Trust, which campaigns for the restoration of the Stroudwater navigation and Thames & Severn Canal, is implementing AllSee Technologies digital signage solutions to better communicate with its members, staff and potential trustees.

The organisation’s main aim is to elevate public awareness of the restoration and reopening of the Cotswold Canals. To do this they required a means of informing, entertaining and educating visitors on the restoration process, in a clear and engaging way.

The solution was to install a 32“ digital signage screen in the conference room, which had to have a built in media player, full HD display, include a free wall mounting option and be easy to update using a plug and play method.

Clive Field, Visitor Centre Manager said, “The installation of the digital signage screen promoted more discussion with both staff and visitors which in turn presented more membership recruitment opportunities.”

The content they display includes a 20 minute montage of photos featuring stages of the restoration process with a map in the bottom corner to show where on the route the photo was taken.
