This week’s FT Weekend magazine (October 25/26 2008) had a nice article on how periphery services to the City of London and the banking industry in general were faring in the current climate – markets opened further down this morning as well, Ed 🙁 – the article covered everything from contract office cleaners, fruit delivery folks, taxi cab firms and software providers.

There was a nice quote from Glen Manchester, Chief Executive Officer, Thunderhead, a software provider, not our industry sector BTW but applicable nonetheless to us…

“In the current climate any solution or service that can improve the efficiency of a business will get airtime at management level”

Well worth heeding.
