Located in NYC and reporting to the Director of Network Launch, the Project Manager is fully responsible for the successful delivery of all aspects of large Digital Media Signage network rollouts.

The Project Manager will handle day to day management of project team members reporting to PM as well as internal and external communications within DV Group, project partners, clients and stakeholders. This role handles production of formal project documentation, as well as budgetary control and progress reporting to Launch Director & Account Team.

This is a major client-facing role both at Partner and End client level. The role requires solid experience and successful project management track record in managing multi faceted projects within a commercial media and technology environment. We are small team servicing multiple clients from different industries. This is a “hands on”, “get things done” role, where a common sense approach is crucial. You need to be a self-starter in this role and willing to take initiative to get results.

Job Responsibilities Include: –

  • Preparing Project Documentation – Project Scopes, Schedule & Budget documents
  • Creation of Project Folder, updating and publishing of documents to shared server for team use
  • Accurately capturing & documenting client requirements and obtaining internal and external signoff within overall project plan.
  • Monitoring progress of project against agreed plan, escalation to Network Launch
  • Director of any slippage or risks to project
  • Lead Client Interaction during planning and installation phase
  • Liaise with Account Manager on progress and agree appropriate Client Communication.
  • Weekly Formal Project Updates with Client
  • Day to day management of 3rd party contractors in particular installation partners.
  • This includes creating scopes, briefing scheduling & install teams, overseeing schedules and communicating updates to client on a frequent basis
  • Liaise with various internal & external departments to ensure timely delivery of projects – this includes hardware, software, network and content delivery. Note these teams are often based internationally
  • Coordination & attendance of project meetings, including production of meeting agendas & minutes
  • Preparing both internal and external Lessons Learned reports
  • Briefing internal help desk on new projects and associated installation schedules
  • Responsible for completion of SLA documents with Account Manager and Clients
  • Successful hand over of Network to internal help desk
  • Review internal processes and determine opportunities to streamline operational tasks and procedures
  • Implement best practices methodologies and tools to improve efficiency of tasks between operations, finance, sales and development
  • Pre-Sales Support – Working with sales teams to produce client presentations, bid & RFI responses as required
  • Working with 3rd Party suppliers & Partners in relation to installation agreements, services, content delivery and creation, network connectivity, hardware design & SLA/ maintenance contracts
  • Qualified Background

  • 5-10 years experience in Project Management/ Service Delivery roles
  • Existing Project Management experience within a Media and Technology environment
  • Knowledge of internet & IP connectivity preferred
  • Knowledge of audio visual and network equipment preferred
  • Ability to demonstrate sound experience of working within PMI/ PRINCE type methodology
  • Experience of working within multi faceted projects, bringing together very different streams of activity in media and technical environment
  • Team player, working within Global environment
  • Excellent client communication skills, servicing a range of different kind of companies.
  • Organized, hard working, diplomatic, Can-do attitude, Detail oriented
  • Self-starter, takes initiative, enjoys a challenge
  • Enjoys working in a fast-paced, emerging industry
  • Very proficient with common business software, such as MS Office
  • Use of MS Project or similar PM package
  • Comfortable and capable learning new software (including our digital signage control software)
  • Comfortable with web and media technology
  • Able to use technology to communicate effectively with colleagues in numerous global locations
  • Office Based with 20-30% US National Travel
