We are not sure who borrowed from whom but in the action shot (shown above) we noticed the exact same foil (the ecosystem diagram) that Bob Rosenberry, Visual Solutions, Retail Solutions Global Business Unit, Hewlett-Packard gave in his truly AWFUL presentation entitled ‘The Evolving Digital Signage Vendor Ecosystem‘ in the DisplaySearch Digital Signage conference on the Tuesday.
Whilst HP have heavily endorsed Scala elsewhere in their corporate hegemony the ‘Visual Solutions, Retail Solutions’ business unit don’t seem to (a) get what digital signage actually is and (b) explain what they are doing in the space. For a ‘visual solutions’ group their foils / slides are also appallingly bad.
