Captivate Network Names Chief Revenue Officer

Chelmsford, Massachusetts-based Captivate Network,
a leading digital media company in North America, has named Patrick Hagerty as its new chief revenue officer.

In this newly created position, Hagerty will lead the Captivate sales team and be responsible for all advertising related revenue for the company. He will report to Mike DiFranza, Captivate CEO.

Under Hagerty¹s sales leadership, Captivate Network, whose screens have become a familiar fixture in premier high-rise elevators across North America, will seek new and innovative ways to drive growth for clients who seek to reach the millions of upscale professionals interacting with Captivate-delivered content every day.

Hagerty joins Captivate with more than 25 years of experience in sales and marketing. He was recently US publisher and vice-president of sales at Newsweek, where he grew digital revenue 540% over an eight-year period and led the cross-platform initiatives that produced over $20 million of incremental revenue in categories such as finance, technology and automotive. Prior to Newsweek, as senior vice-president at Primedia Inc., Hagerty led the cross platform sales organization and served as publisher of US News and World Report and Fast Company for over 11 years. During his tenure, he drove US News from number three to number one for three consecutive years. He was a launch team member of Fast Company, which was sold for more than $350 million.
