Art Comes Closer At Copenhagen Libraries

Denmark’s Copenhagen Taarnby Community Libraries is making fine art available to all using digital signage. Combining Cumedin’s ArtPlayer, a digital signage service that displays fine art images by Monet, Van Gogh, Renoir amongst others; together with Black Box digital signage system, the libraries are able to share over 500,000 fine art images providing great ambience as well as edutainment to all its visitors.

The Black Box system runs the library’s digital signage and integrates its presentation with ArtPlayer content. “ArtPlayer runs directly in the browser and it couldn’t be easier to add the ArtPlayer link to the Black Box playlist. That means it can run as part of our regular presentation,” explains IT Specialist Carsten Bo Vilhelmsen from the library’s IT department.
