Mitsubishi Wins Digital Signage Contract For Narita Airport
Adrian J Cotterill, Editor-in-Chief
News in earlier this week that Mitsubishi will install a 180-degree panoramic OLED screen in Tokyo’s Narita International Airport.
It’s claimed to be part of the ‘largest digital signage installation seen in Japan to date’ as the order comprises a total of 340 display units including two pairs of 330-inch screens, a concave organic light-emitting diode (OLED) screen and multiple touch-screen displays.
Partial operation we believe is scheduled to begin in March 2012, with full operation by the summer of the same year.
