The Guardian have announced the launch of an inaugural Mobile Business Summit taking place in London on 6th December 2011. The conference will explore the strategic and commercial opportunities of mobile technologies, giving one the knowledge and contacts to take an organisation’s mobile strategy to the next level.
The Summit, we are told will offer key insights into the areas of m-commerce, mobile apps, the mobile web, SMS, mobile advertising, mobile marketing, opportunities in mobile data and location, as well as providing corporate strategy insights on how the most innovative companies are shaping their future through mobile.

Keynote speakers include:-
- Warren East, CEO at ARM will provide us with a global technology outlook as the provider of micro processing capabilities to the biggest mobile manufacturers
- Ed Vaizey, minister for culture, communications and creative industries at the Department for Culture, Media and Sport will set the agenda for creative industries and policy making in the UK, with a view to empowering the next generation of mobile innovators
- JP Rangaswami, chief scientist at Salesforce and leading thinker at the intersection of social, local, mobile and cloud technologies
