Andale, Andale, Mexico Today
Mexico Today, the country brand for Mexico, is showcasing the country’s natural beauty, rich cultural traditions and business opportunities in an immersive advertising campaign on London’s Heathrow Express.
Booked with JCDecaux Airport through Aviator, Kinetic’s international division, the campaign deploys digital screens and eye-catching vinyl wraps to bring the vibrancy of Mexico to London.
Comprising 168 HD digital airport panels and giant wall wraps in lifts, corridors and escalators, the ‘Hex Motion +’ network promotes Mexico as the ideal destination for business and leisure audiences.
- A huge vinyl wrap transforms a corridor into an underwater paradise, with Digital Airport Panels highlighting the local wildlife alongside the strapline: ‘Not all of our locals speak Spanish.’
- Lifts are wrapped with tropical imagery, transporting passengers to the famous Cave of Swallows, the largest known cave shaft in the world, while Digital Airport Panels proclaim, ‘The height of a Mexican holiday can be its depths.’
- A third digital creative highlights Mexico’s flourishing aerospace industry with the strapline, ‘turning engineering into art since the Mayans.’
Manuel Diaz Cebrian, Mexico Tourism Board director for UK, Ireland, Sweden and The Netherlands, said: “This exciting campaign, intended to be myth-busting, visually arresting and provocative, will communicate the countless, diverse benefits of Mexico for business, investment and pleasure. Holidays are an increasingly important way for people to unwind from the stress of daily life so for tourists this campaign highlights new ways they can explore Mexico and return home feeling renewed and re-energised after a holiday filled with new discoveries.”
HEX Motion + is a unique opportunity to reach passengers making their way from the Heathrow Express to Heathrow Terminals 1, 3, 4 and 5 with sites in lifts, escalators and corridors, sold to one advertiser only.
