Bob Stohrer CMO At Clear Channel Digital

Bob Stohrer was recently named chief marketing officer of Clear Channel Digital, reporting to Brian Lakamp, president, Clear Channel Digital, and responsible for national marketing plans, brand execution and social marketing efforts for Clear Channel Digital with special focus on Clear Channel’s digital radio service iHeartRadio.
Stohrer was recently vice-president of corporate marketing at Sprint Nextel, where he was integral to the design and implementation of the prepaid multi-brand strategy initiated by the company in 2009 following its acquisition of Virgin Mobile USA. Stohrer also led the consumer marketing efforts of brands including Virgin and Boost Mobile, and headed Virgin’s cause marketing effort, The Re*Generation, which focused on youth homelessness. Among the various sponsorship initiatives he managed was the Virgin Mobile Music Festival and its title sponsorship of Lady Gaga’s Monster Ball Tour.
Prior to Sprint Nextel, Stohrer held executive positions at several companies including Virgin Mobile and the National Football League properties.
