Steven Cutler To Head Clear Channel’s Business Development
Gail Chiasson, North American Editor
Hmm! Don’t know why we haven’t received the statement on this, but we learned via digitalmediawire that Clear Channel has named Steven Cutler to the newly created position of senior vice-president of business development and corporate strategy, reporting directly to Bob Pittman, Clear Channel CEO.
Cutler will apparently work with all parts of the company to execute key initiatives and strategies as determined by Pittman and operating division leadership, as well as fulfilling a lead role in major strategic agreements for the company and its divisions as required.
dmw says that Cutler will also keep his position with Pilot Group, the private investment firm Pittman founded and continues to lead. Cutler was earlier an investment banker at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where he worked on mergers and acquisitions and capital markets transactions for media and consumer/retail companies. He has also been an analyst at Jupiter Media Metrix Research, focusing on online and mobile platforms.
