Industry Weapon – TE Connectivity Alliance
Gail Chiasson, North American Editor
Industry Weapon recently announced an alliance with TE Connectivity, Schaffhausen, Switzerland, to deliver interactive digital signage solutions on Elo TouchSystems displays that – so they claim, Ed will make a generally-considered complex technology a lot more simplified.
As software content developers for digital media technology, Industry Weapon is known to provide customers with simplified solutions. As an Elo Elite independent software vendor partner, Industry Weapon has joined forces with the TE Touch Solutions business unit, Menlo Park, California, to develop and deliver interactive touchscreen signage on the Elo TouchSystems family of large-format displays.
“Both Industry Weapon and Elo bring something unique to the table,” says Neeraj Pendse, director of interactive digital signage products at TE Touch Solutions. “Industry Weapon is known for providing its customers with an amazing software experience, and Elo products are recognized for cutting-edge touchscreen technologies and post-sales support.”
David Wible, Industry Weapon CEO, says, “When you combine our software’s incredible ease-of-use with our 24/7 live customer support and the rock-solid Elo hardware, you can’t go wrong. Together, we make it easy for our customers to get their digital signage up and running quickly. Our 97% customer retention rate tells us we’re doing something right.”
The partnership means that both companies’ clients and customers will get to enjoy value added services and products with some out-of-the-box thinking and technology from two industry leaders.

And the avalanche begins. First a “big” announcement that they hired a PR guy, complete with bio and picture. That shook things up. Now a throwaway reseller agreement. I see that Industry Weapon is trending ahead of Whitney Houston today on Twitter. We can expect this to reach a crescendo prior to DSE, perhaps with the announcement of a devastating new software feature. Or maybe not, since they aren’t exhibiting at the show.

We appreciate you following us so closely RIchard. Not sure you understood the release.
1. Elo is a manufacturer not a reseller.
2. Industry Weapon will be exhibiting at DSE with partners Cisco, AVI-SPL and TSI Touch.
Hope to see you at the show.

David:
1. I implied that you are the reseller, not Elo. But to your point, extremely exciting news.
2. Yes, booth sharing, while against show rules, certainly saves enough money to offset the PR mill.
Cheers
