The first bit of gossip to reach us in Amsterdam Monday was actually news from back home when Cambridge, UK based cloud-based wannabee Digital Signage software vendor Camvine did not turn up to build the exhibition space that they had booked.
Tongues wagged of course and there were delighted grins on many of the software vendors around Hall 10.
We heard from two people today (Tuesday) that Camvine have gone into administration. As we have approximately 600 software vendors in the marketplace at the moment that is surely one more down, 540 or so to go?

Peter, blame the supposedly wealthy, worldly wise investors who have pulled the plug not us. We are just reporting the facts here. It’s always a shame when folks lose their jobs

Pete, stop faffing on blogs and sell some product.

I cannot agree that your terminology is “just reporting the facts” but more like a daily mail snigger at another’s downfall. It’s a real shame that you think it’s OK to scoff at the bad luck of others, clearly that shows the level of your mettle

You come across as smug, heartless and deeply unpleasant.
“Tongues wagged of course and there were delighted grins on many of the software vendors around Hall 10.”
“As we have approximately 600 software vendors in the marketplace at the moment that is surely one more down, 540 or so to go?”
Not that you care, but you’ll not receive any visits to your site from me in the future.
Not pleasant…
