D. Scott Karnedy Moves To Film

After three-plus years as chief sales officer at Premier Retail Networks, D. Scott Karnedy has taken the position as chief revenue officer for a company founded by Ted Leonsis with board support from Steve & Jean Case, Terry Semel, Miles Gilburne, Tige Savage, NEA, and Comcast.
Karnedy says that SnagFilms and Indiewire are the leaders in independent films and documentaries in the online video space.
“It is a new kind of media company in a fast growing sector,” says Karnedy. “I was introduced to my new boss – Rick Allen, CEO and co-founder, by my old boss Hugh Panero, who advises for the venture. They, along with the rest of the team make this a phenomenal opportunity that I could not pass up.”
Karnedy is taking a couple of weeks off and starting in mid-February .
