MobileCause, Calabasas, California-based mobile giving provider, and Bathesda, Maryland-based Network for Good, co-hosts of Innogive, announced last week that PayPal will be providing 150 full scholarships for nonprofits to attend the upcoming 2012 Innogive Conference.
Innogive, the Innovative Giving Foundation, was established to provide nonprofits with knowledge, direction and resources for the best Mobile Solutions available to communicate, serve, raise awareness and raise financial support through the quickly emerging mobile giving channel.
Attendees at the Innogive Conference will learn about mobile and innovative giving ideas to help nonprofits reduce the mobile learning curve and increase the use and effectiveness of nonprofit technology campaigns. Attendees from nonprofits which are IRS registered must submit their information by March 7/12, online. The grant from PayPal will provide nonprofits free attendance to the conference. The scholarship covers the Innogive Conference attendance. Recipients are responsible for travel and accommodations to attend the event to learn more about mobile technology. Additional conference sponsors include: Microsoft, Razoo, Wealth Engine, Truist, and Brushfire Mobile.
Hosted on April 2/12, in San Francisco at the Union Square Hilton, the Innogive Conference will educate attendees on the subjects of mobile and social engagement, fundraising, and data management. It will also review the evolution of text-to-give mobile giving to mobile giving which has no donation limits. The conference will also look at the convergence of mobile, social and web and how nonprofit organizations should harness this convergence.
The event has played to a sold-out audience the last two years in a row and attracts nonprofits from all sectors and from across the country. Top technology, mobile, social and nonprofit experts are scheduled to present best practices and be available to help nonprofit professionals start, improve and strategize an effective mobile plan. More information on both the next and former conference can be found here.
Innogive’s mission to help Nonprofits reduce the mobile channel learning curve is accomplished through bringing together trusted leaders and service providers to present the best ‘proven’ and innovative engagement and fundraising solutions that are working in the mobile marketplace. The focus will be to help all nonprofits – Education, Faith, and Cause – to increase success and efficiency in building brand awareness, raising money, and communicating with current and prospective supporters through mobile and other interactive channels.
