In the Chicago metro area we are hearing that Burger King’s Digital Menu board system is down in a couple of restaurants…
(Yes that top part of the picture is supposed to be the LCD displays). Those caddish amongst our readers would say “serves ’em right for using a point of sale vendor for screens and doing it on the cheap” BUT that is perhaps a little unfair don’t you think?
Mind you, perhaps SICOM Systems, Inc. (said point of sale vendor) is today helping distribute paper menus (as are the other staff in the restaurants affected) or perhaps not?
