I have criticised 3M’s newsletter many times before for being weak and non existent on substance and content but being absolutely fantastic on layout and look and feel.

However, this month’s 3M newsletter is actually worth a more than usual cursory glance as it actually documents three real world example uses of their Vikuiti rear projection film.

We have written about the Windowgain story before but we particularly liked the egg shaped digital screen in Tunbridge Wells.

We have made mention before – especially in our presentations – that digital screens in 2008 will take on different shapes (and in many ways not appear like screens at all) and this is a good example of that trend that we predicted.
