Audio Branding Congress, December 2012
The Audio Branding Academy has announced that the 2012 Audio Branding Congress will be held in Oxford this year, on 11th December.
Whilst this will be the fourth annual gathering of practitioners from the audio branding industry, it’s the first time this event has come to the UK and will be held at the prestigious Oxford Examination Schools.
Keynote speakers for Audio Branding Congress 2012 include:
- Professor Charles Spence who is the head of the Crossmodal Research Laboratory at the Department of Experimental Psychology, Oxford University – ‘Crossmodal’ describes the way the senses interact and affect one another, Ed
- Professor Nancy Puccinelli of Saïd Business School, Oxford is a world expert on consumer research and consumer behaviour
A further highlight of the event will be the presentation of the annual Audio Branding Award from among six finalists, all judged by an expert panel to represent the best in sound branding practice.
Delegates will also enjoy a diverse range of talks, poster presentations, and the revelation of the results from the 2012 Audio Branding Barometer – a survey of all the audio branding suppliers worldwide that will show the growth, changes and structure of this dynamic industry.
The day-long event will be moderated by Julian Treasure, chairman of The Sound Agency, author of the book Sound Business and a three-time speaker on sound on the prestigious ted.com.
Previous ABC gatherings were held in Hamburg (2009 and 2010) and New York (2011).
