Goodbye Planar Subscribers :(
Adrian J Cotterill, Editor-in-Chief
It’s very sad but it looks like we have to say goodbye to all the Planar employees who were, up until today, part of our loyal and valued subscriber base.
Quite literally we have had almost a dozen email alerts today so far (yes, we get told when you sign up AND when you have had enough) along the lines of….
john.&^%$£@planar.com unsubscribed from email notifications!
A few Planar employees have lost their jobs (we don’t know how many) and some are now simply no longer interested / have any responsibility for the DS / DOOH marketplace.
Good luck to those who are looking for new positions and get in touch if you think we can help you.

I could be wrong, but I think Planar still intends to pursue the DS market with its display technologies, and therefore would still care about the DOOH market.
Could it be that those employees assigned to the Coolsign business unit–and therefore “sold” to CS Holdings–were doing so because they will be re-subscribing under a new xxxx@coolsign.com email address?

And I would have thought that leaking this private information breaches the morality of the data protection act if not the act itself.

Dear Perturbed-of-Luton, rest assured no humans were injured, hurt or harmed in anyway in the writing of this post.

C’mon folks, can we have flesh/names please, since there seems to be NO ‘ACT’ that applies here 🙂
