Those of us not in Munich this week were among the guests of Telecine Multimedia last evening in Montreal, enjoying a lovely Greek buffet (complete with good Greek wine, of course) and then front row seats on the office roof to see the Greek entry in the annual International Fireworks competition.
James Fine, president of Telecine, his wife and staff hosted a lovely mix of national and international guests, business partners, clients and potential clients.
Among them were representatives of Telecine’s partner Scala Canada and Scala US.. (Finally present after 10 years of plans to see the Fireworks, Jeff Porter, Scala’s SignChannel president, got royally teased as having jinxed the event when the show began 15 minutes late.)
While there, we had a peek at some great upcoming work currently underway by Telecine that we can hardly wait to write about. This is a company that flies under the radar of some people, but for those who know it – and we can count among them a lot of major, international companies – such as Bloomberg TV, Iron Ore Company of Canada, Accuweather, Agropur, University of New Brunswick, Radio-Canada – they keep coming back for more.
All in all, a super – and sparkling – evening!
