7-Eleven, Home of (Big Gulp) LG And Harris Kit
Adrian J Cotterill, Editor-in-Chief
7-Eleven, home of Big Gulp fountain soft drinks, Big Bite hot dogs, Slurpee drinks, and 35 million dollars worth of LG screens and Harris broadcast kit!
Give it a week or so and the ‘proverbial’ will finally hit the fan with the debacle that has been DDN and 7-Eleven. DDN were allegedly a long way behind in the planned deployment schedule (4,000+ currently when they should have been closer to 7,000), ad revenue was no where near what was (unrealistically) expected and we hear that DDN have been given notice.
Expect 7-Eleven to sue and Harris to be at the brunt of this (there’s probably little point in them suing DDN at this point in time) AND expect all this to play out in public as Harris will have to disclose everything as they seek to rid themselves of their broadcast division.

I wonder where you get some of your rumours… I thinks it will bite you in the ass someday soon.
