Screenfeed has launched production of another original series specifically built to engage audiences of digital signage. ‘Destinations’ is an ongoing series of video shorts that transports viewers to scenic corners of the globe through the breathtaking photographs and footage of National Geographic.
Each weekly 2-minute segment allows the audience to ‘get away’ and learn what its like to travel to each destination through high-definition images, footage, narration and on-screen facts.
Jeremy Gavin, CEO of Screenfeed told us “Screenfeed is dedicated to providing the highest-quality, syndicated media for the digital signage medium. We understand what works and the challenge involved in gaining an audience. National Geographic’s dedication towards delivering indescribable sights and scenery is a perfect ingredient to deliver content that will get folks looking up from their smart phones to enjoy the view,”
Digital signage network operators will, we are sure, appreciate that a new destination is added to the series each and every week to help keep their screens fresh. In addition to the current weekly episode, subscribing networks can leverage the full library of destinations to fill their playlists.
Screenfeed tell us that they have worked with over 300 networks and are currently providing content to over 40,000 screens.
‘Destinations’ will work on screens with or without audio capabilities (the audio for each episode contains complete narration and background music, while on-screen information accompanies the imagery to entertain in venues without sound).
Integration into playlist loops is easy. Each episode is produced to the exact same duration and Destinations can be delivered automatically through Media RSS, Direct URL or provided via FTP.
