We’ve heard via the grapevine that the Digital Place-based Advertising Association has added four new members: Titan (which doesn’t surprise us, especially since the company launched Titan Air), Intel, Access Sports Media and (a little surprise here) Walmart Smart Network.
And we’ve also heard of a loss, not of a member company we hasten to add but of the hard working membership director Ryan Pogy, who has apparently decided to move to Arbitron as a research analyst.
Pogy has been with the DPAA since its founding in 2007 and has literally been the right arm of Susan Danaher, DPAA president, so we’re sure he’ll be missed by the entire staff – although with Arbitron being a member, our guess is that he’ll still be around.
The good news is that Pogy apparently won’t be leaving his current position until after the DPAA Digital Media Summit, for which Danaher must be thanking her lucky stars.
