The 2012 Digital Perspective @ScreenForum
As with the last two years, digital signage networking group The Screen will focus its last event of 2012 looking back and reviewing another tumultuous year for the digital signage industry. ‘Digital Perspective 2012’, to be held at The Hospital Club in London’s Covent Garden on Tuesday 11th December, will assess another year of significant gains for both the digital out-of-home and digital retail markets.
2011 was the year the DOOH industry defied the gloom with incredible new digital signage infrastructure investment. So did we in 2012 continue with that rapid expansion, where we able to fill all that new digital inventory and did the Olympics just create a big ‘feel good’ advertising bubble.
To consider all these developments and to ponder their impact on the wider industry, The Screen has brought together three key industry commentators, each representing different stakeholders from across the sector.
- Jeremy Male, CEO UK & Northern Europe – JCDecaux: At this event two years ago we heard Jeremy set out a bold agenda and bullish forecasts for JCDecaux in Europe. This year he will present an update on those forecasts and his take on the UK’s post-Olympic DOOH market
- Matt Gee, Director, Development & Growth – R/GA: From recent case studies, Matt will give the perspective of one of the world’s leading digital agencies as to the evolving implementation of 360 digital experiences by brands and retailers
- Nick Mawditt, Global Director of Marketing & Insight – Kinetic: Having established themselves as the foremost media planner for the global DOOH market, Nick will take us through how DOOH has broken down more barriers in 2012 and what it has in store for the future
To hear their unique review of 2012 and preview the challenges of 2013, join The Screen for a misty-eyed reminisce over bagels and coffee on Tuesday 11th December.
Celebrate another excellent year for our industry whilst networking and debating the many points raised.
