Planes, Trains And Automobiles @ScreenForum, Amsterdam

Guest Contributor, Lisa Goldstein

On the 5th February, digital out-of-home networking group, The Screen Amsterdam will be holding a special breakfast briefing session looking at the digital signage market across; ‘Planes, Trains & Automobiles‘.

The opportunity for advertisers to target the travelling public with digital has never been greater. The transport sector has not only provided some of the earliest and most successful digital signage case studies, but it has put the DOOH industry firmly on the map and underpinned much of its recent international growth.

The high traffic and high value audiences of the world’s airports, train stations and metro hubs have proved highly desirable to digital advertisers, pushing landlords and network owners to find ever more innovative sites and technology to target them.

In ‘Planes, Trains & Automobiles‘ The Screen Amsterdam will be taking a closer look at how digital out-of-home technology is transforming the travelling experience, with presentations from key organisations working across the industry.

Speakers will include :

  • Gary Mey, Sales Director, Schiphol Media: Schiphol is the 4th busiest airport in Europe and by international passenger volume the 5th largest in the world. Gary will discuss how Schiphol is developing its media proposition and what digital means for the passenger experience
  • Stefan Kuhlow, CEO, Ströer Digital Media GmbH: Ströer has over 280,000 advertising faces in Europe and is Germany’s biggest outdoor advertising company. With sites in Rail, Bus and Metro; Stefan will look at the key drives behind the current digital investment across the transport sector
