The Digital Signage Federation announced this week that they will be hosting four regional networking events throughout North America in 2013, with the first taking place in Dallas, TX as reported late last week here.
Each of the four markets that the DSF will be visiting this year has been picked for its influence upon the industry – we’ve reached out to them and asked why they are not yet supporting #DpbMedia week in NYC which kicks off this year Monday 21 October 2013, Ed
The vision behind these events we are told, is to provide an opportunity and low-key environment to further foster community within our industry, as well as to offer an opportunity for industry vendors and integrators to hear directly from end users and network operators what they are looking for in, and their biggest struggles with digital signage.
The dates and cities that these events will be held in 2013 are:-
- Dallas, TX, March 20th
- Toronto, Canada, June 26th
- Minneapolis-St. Paul, MN, Sept. 25th
- Southern California, Dec. 4th (specific city TBD)
The DSF board of directors will be attending these events, which will also create a forum for members and other digital signage constituents to voice their thoughts and opinions on the direction that DSF should move in to help the advancement of our industry.
